Here is the firstof my home-grown mushrooms. Sabrina and Jesse sent me a kit many weeks ago and I postponed starting them until after the trip when I would have time to tend them. This one is about three inches across and David and I ate it one night mixed with some inferior store-bought ones. It was delicious, though I can't say I would have known the difference had I not cared for it lovingly for two weeks.
